A minor correction: giga Shanghai has never hit more than 950,000 units output. Since Apr 2023 over half of output has been exported, and as of Feb 2026 they still have 90% capacity utilization. It's amazing that they are still selling 2 aged models in volume, in the face of all the new vehicles available - half of all the vehicles BYD has ever sold are less than 2 years old.
